05 STORAGE TOWER CAPTOR With the storage tower CAPTOR you can specifically store finished layers behind your converting machines. Stacks coming from two converting machines (e.g. two die cutters as shown in the graphic below) can be stacked with two Captors on one Strator by processing the storage towers one after the other. During buffering the bundles from one die cutter, the bundles from the other one are palletized. This provides you with a space-saving, cost-effective and fully automatic option. The compact design and the storage on several levels allows the inter- mediate storage of several bundles. The hall height limits the number of storage spaces. The bundles are first removed from the Captor when a pallet can be completely created. Thus, unnecessary waiting times of the palletizer are avoided and the performance of the converting machines is increased.
