For the tour our retirees Heinrich Sievers and Rainer Witte again worked out an interesting route. The two never run out of ideas for new routes.

After a warm welcome to the bikers on the company premises and the joy that many retirees were also there again, it went to the slopes with cold drinks in bike bags and backpacks. More than 30 bikes lined up side by side. With beautiful sunshine, the route led from Aminghausen to Frille, via Päpinghausen and Cammer to Rusbend. Quite a few oncoming cars gave up and simply stopped to let the long line of bikes pass.
The bikers were spoiled culinary in the restaurant "Schäferhof" in Rusbend with the traditional "Schaumburger wedding soup" and a warm buffet, where no wishes remain unfulfilled.
Right from the beginning, our company founder and senior boss Eberhard Falch has accompanied the bike tour. Since the route was close to his home this time, he spontaneously invited all participants to his home for a drink.

The return journey back to the company premises in Minden was via the scenically impressive Schaumburg lowlands and along the Mittelland channel.  All participants agreed to come back next year.

Let's see where the silver tour, as it is also affectionately called by some colleagues, will then go.
