It is no longer a matter of course that employees contribute their energy and knowledge to a company over such a long period of time. This impressive period of employment is a clear sign of continuity, loyalty and a strong work ethic.
MINDA used this occasion to hold a ceremony to express its thanks and appreciation to the four employees for their exceptional commitment. They have significantly influenced the development of the company and set an example for other colleagues. Their experience, expertise and positive attitude are of incalculable value.
Taking the time to review stories from the past in a relaxed atmosphere is very important to us here at MINDA. And particularly the older employees have experienced a number of moves and positive changes over the years.
Bernd Beitans, a skilled machine fitter, can look back on 30 years working at MINDA. After graduating as a certified industrial foreman in 1996, he moved from final assembly to work preparation. He was responsible for controlling and scheduling the order processing of mechanical components and also in charge of the vehicle fleet.
Based on his experience and knowledge, he moved to purchasing in 2012, where he was responsible for the procurement of mechanical components. Since 2019, he has been supporting our location in Stadthagen, where he took over the functions of purchasing and work preparation in combination. Currently he is responsible for the operational part of complaints management in Minden.
Dr. Ing. Hubertus Zeddies joined MINDA 25 years ago as the Technical Director being responsible for both mechanical and electrical construction. As an old-school engineer, he was significantly involved in the preliminary design and development of special presses such as the Kielsteg press. His extraordinary expertise, particularly in all mechanical matters, earned him great respect and appreciation. Getting involved in the project with the end customer and accompanying his ideas through to realization are important to him.
His special knowledge of static and dynamic strength analyses earned him the title of "Iron Doctor" among his colleagues.
Following his retirement, he will continue to assume advi on technical developments within the MINDA group.
The graduate engineer Andreas Lübbing started at MINDA 25 years ago as an electrical designer and software developer in Electrical Engineering Corrugated.
In this area, he develops software to control complex intralogistics systems for the corrugated cardboard industry, which he successfully puts into operation at customer sites worldwide.
Diligent and efficient application development and project management characterize the jubilee. In addition to his main duties, he also provided technical support to the technical bachelor students at MINDA.
Mario Leschniewski has been strengthening the goods receiving department as a warehouse worker at MINDA for 10 years. His area of activity includes receiving and issuing, storage, order picking and stock control of goods. The warehouseman impresses with his commitment, reliability and engagement. He is known by his superiors and colleagues for keeping a cool head in stressful situations.
Our colleagues were honored with certificates and also received a small gift from the works council.
As a special thank you, the "iron doctor" received a functioning miniature version of a cross-laminated timber press about which he was visibly pleased.
