At MILEFA we took models of our versatile used plastic chain conveyor (PCC). The pupils had the task of assembling, respectively electrically upgrading the PCC model. They were assisted by our trainees. On every day, two future construction mechanics and electronics technicians supervised the stand and not only actively supported the young people with their tasks, but were also available to answer questions around MINDA, training opportunities and practical training.
The organization and presentation at the MILEFA is an annual MINDA project, which is autonomously led by our trainees and students. This year's presentation at MILEFA was very well prepared and the responsible persons are satisfied: from the set-up, through the seven days, to the dismantling, everything went smoothly.
The pupils were motivated and quickly settled into the jobs of a construction mechanic and an electronics technician. Some of them asked a lot of questions and showed great interest in the apprenticeship. Others worked very independently and, for example, used the PCC drawings for further help.
Every year, we are happy to be part of MILEFA and to inspire young people about our training program and the future opportunities at MINDA.
