During the overhaul, a constructively revised chassis variant was used. This enabled the implementation of the drive solution from the current transfer car generation. In future, the transfer cars will have two drives which entail an optimised driving behaviour.
The elementary electrical components were renewed in the form of an up-to-date control panel and, in conjunction with a software update, they were able to contribute to the optimisation of the safety equipment. Discontinued components were replaced by successor models or, as in the example of the transfer car positioning, were replaced by state-of-the-art solutions. A laser measuring unit was used here, which will ensure a stable and optimised process in future times.
