The Christmas donation, collected by the employees at the Christmas party, has become a tradition for the Minda staff. Since 2016 the MINDA staff has been planning its own donation campaign at the Christmas party in order to do something good together on the employees' side in addition to the contingent from the "MINDA Cares" project which is a company donation pool. This is always a matter of the heart for the Minda staff every year:

During the Christmas party 2019 a collection was made for Minden’s "Pink Dragons". This is a dragon boat club where women paddle together during all phases of their breast cancer disease. The physical activity of dragon boating has also got a positive therapeutic effect, for example by reducing lymphedema or counteracting fatigue (fatique syndrome).

At the end of January, the donation sum of 528.51 Euros was handed over to the Pink Dragons who were very happy about this support. Amongst other, this money should be used to purchase carbon paddles which are much lighter compared to the existing wooden paddles.
