This new exchange program shall give our young employees the chance to get to know our different sites and colleagues better as well as to familiarize themselves with the project topics and work steps at site. 

Denis and Gursimran are in their 3rd year of training in Stadthagen and were very excited to learn something new in Tangermünde. Thus, the two young men headed for Tangermünde, where they started their visit with a company tour to meet their colleagues at site. There were even some familiar faces among the colleagues: known from the trainee day last October. 

In the next days they learned turning and milling on the CNC machines, as these machines are not in operation in Stadthagen. In addition, the social exchange beside the work should also be considered and thus, at the end of the week, the Tangermünde colleagues and our "exchange apprentices" enjoyed dinner together followed by a bowling competition.  

It was an instructive week for our apprentices, and they had fun and experienced Tangermünde as a beautiful city. We are already looking forward to welcoming the apprentices from Tangermünde at our site in Stadthagen this fall where they will learn more about the processes in our metal department with our Laser.
