CLT elements from a MINDA production line for an 80-meter-high timber construction project in Sweden

An impressive example from the engineered wood products sector is the Sara Cultural Centre in Skellefteå whose products were manufactured on MINDA presses.

Skellefteå's new cultural center is a timber construction (CLT and Glulam) with a rough height of 80 meters, low-carbon building that is positive for both the environment and for people using the venue.

The CLT-elements had been produced on a MINDA CLT production line by Holmen Wood (Martinsons).

Sara Cultural Centre, one of the world’s tallest timber buildings, is situated in Skellefteå, just below the artic circle in the north of Sweden. It combines venues for arts, performances and meetings as well as a hotel, and has been constructed with the latest energy solutions.

At MINDA, we are proud to support sustainable CO2-saving future projects like the Sara Cultural Centre in Skellefteå with our systems.
