A fire destroyed the directly adjacent panel factory. It was decided at short notice to rebuild the plant using state-of-the-art technology. The goal was a flexible plant conception for large size CLT boards on a production area of only 6,500 m².
MINDA convinced with its overall conception tailor-made for Schilliger. The high-speed press TimberPress X 134 HS is the centrepiece of the line being able to press panels of 14 m length, 3.40 m width and a thickness of 27 to 400 mm. This press system has been specially designed for large throughput volumes also allowing flexible order-oriented production up to a batch size 1.
